A picture is worth a thousand words:
Permadeck came to the rescue of this very important development. This listed building had always suffered from countless leaks through the lead system that had been originally fitted in 1912. In 2002 the building was converted into apartments but not before EVERY internal joist was repaired by cutting out the extensive rot and splicing in new timber. Permadeck was used for the almost ¼ mile of gutters around the building!
Little or no disturbance to adjoining slates or tiles
Many flat roofs have internal gutters. Where possible we redesign them so that they discharge into an external hopper rather than through a hole in the roof. This eliminates any problems caused by choked down pipes.
Pictures taken prior to the hopper being fitted on the outside.
This roof's internal outlet was sealed off and an external pipe fitted with a 'hopper head' at the top.
We were pleased to be involved in the refurbishment of the valley gutter on this
complex highland building owned by one of the world’s most famous golfers.

Even details not normally recommended are possible with Permadeck — 2 roof-lights
in a valley!
Valley lead had been stoled from this cathedral. The Permadeck is more watertight
and won’t be stolen.
