Please note these are general comparisons and individual systems may be better or worse in some areas. E&OE
- Can be seamless on simple roofs. Welded or glued seams required at details like rooflights, vents, soil pipes, corners, internal gutters, level changes, adjoining structures, parapets, water tanks, flue pipes, chimneys etc.
- Some can be crudely heat shrunk though this can affect their life
- Some can be glued to plywood
- Some pigments are less colourfast
- Most can only meet this requirement with heavy covering of river stones or granite
chippings, without this some materials are as poor as Ext FA-
C.
